frost15, I see your point, I was just curious since (as it always happens, btw) you get some different "voices" on the same subject.. all in all it's just I hope I made the right choice... it's a very common phase during the buying process I guess. Btw, hope by next week I can have my setup and start judging by myself! I have an interesting setup waiting for that hp, let'see what happens.

matpar. Nice! It will be nice to have more points of view. Remember to burn them in for at least 75 hours before testing them!

To help others with the metal bending I've decided to upload two pictures of how my Gjallarhorns look right now. I guess the final picture will depend on each person's head shape, but that should get you an approximate idea. The clam should be strong enough to keep them in place even if you gently move your head, but not to the point of makin you feel annoying presure. The bend should be done not exactly where the gap starts, but a bit above that. Then you should play with small bendings until you find what works for you. It took me 2 testing hours until I got the perfect clamp, so be patient. You will posibly have to do this only once! Also, after bending the metal band you may have it touching the band below (the one with Kennerton's logo) when you put them in your head. That's normal and should actually help to relieve some pressure from the ears zone. Right now I can wear these for many hours! Finally here, after TWO weeks of "limbo" within UPS customs facilities... no words. Btw, about bending, have I correctly done my homework? so far I'll leave them burn a bit, since you all told extensively it needs a lot of hours to do so: btw so far it's interesting, bass a bit lacking and somehow "slippery" (undefined and with kind of artifacts), but scene is very nice. all in all I never listened to HP that are sooooo sensitive to positions of earpads, arch, and so on... if you fiddle with it, it changes the sound a lot!

Hi matpar . I can't see the image you uploaded (there seems to be a problem because it's not loading on the site) so I can't judge your homework haha. About the burn-in, let them playing with the TARA labs track at medium volume for at least 60 hours, you will certainly notice the difference. And yes, these are very senstive headphones, that's why the proper fit is a must, I can't never stress this enough!

Edited, should be visible now thanks for the burn-in tips p.s. only issue so far is the left earpad seems a little "squished" at the top, and the stitching is not that even... is that somewhat "acceptable"?

The bending looks completely right ! About the earpads, don't worry. Those are premium quality and considering they are created in a craftsman way it's normal they are not even. Mine are not even and judging by the pictures I've seen online no one has a totally symmetrical pair. In any case you can play a bit with the way they are situated by rotating them. Can't wait to see what you think when the burn-in is completed!

Please help some of you. I need to calculate values for 10 band parametric PEQ equalizer for Gjallarhorn GH50 Jm. Here is a link to a page on how to do it, but I couldn't do it. I welcome any advice. autoeq.app/
