Hi buddy, sorry I can only reply when I get chance I work long hours so don't get much time on the forum. Yes the recovery is not in a separate partition on some devices, can be part of the boot partition.
The log is not showing you flashed anything at all ?
The last line is the giveaway 0.063 seconds (0.00 Bps)
You should see something similar to the below.

From your video it looks like it should have flashed. Is it definitely an R6 2020 image they sent you? After flashing do you have any partitions back?

Its the same thing.
Hiby R6 2020 and New Hiby R6 are the same.
I don't think their is a separate recovery partition. I will check on my R8

Hello dear administrator. Have you checked your R8. Does the firmware match?

Is there a way to do a full diligence of the device. Maybe last time there was something left that prevents it from starting.

NPAudio, do you have any way to confirm that the zip file rom1977 posted (Hiby_R6IIInt_1.50G) is compatible with the R6 2020 or R8? It looks (by the file name) to be the firmware for the R6 GEN III.

It's not for the Gen III its for the Gen II Hiby_R6IIInt_1.50G = Hiby R6II International Version 1.50G

NPAudio, Ok. Thanks for the explanation. So, the R6 Gen III is basically an R6 2020, but with Android 12 and less power output. Do you think that if the firmware for the Gen III "somehow" becomes available, that it can be flashed on an R6 2020?

Unfortunately the R6 Gen III firmware will fall at the first hurdle and won't work on the R6 Gen II (2020) The Gen II is using the Snapdragon 660 SOC and the Gen III is using the Snapdragon 665 SOC.

Ok. I'm trying to come up with ideas of how to get Android 12 on an R6 2020. Do you have any thoughts on that NPAudio?
