The M30 is a SD430 and the N8II a SD660, the firehouse configurations are in different threads. This is the SD425 thread. What exactly are you trying to do with ADB? Get into EDL mode?

Easiest way to EDL mode is "adb reboot edl" with USB debugging on. The screen is completely blank so you will only know if it connects to the computer (check device manager in Windows). Button combinations work also but it can be different for different devices.

Because the device name is “?” Or Null

Because the device name is “?” Or Null I see. I had issues with fastboot mode as well not identifying my device in Windows (M11 Plus ESS). With EDL mode you have to use QFIL to copy and flash back the Magisk patched boot partitions (using the firehose driver in 9008 mode) and fastboot isn't needed. Oddly enough fastboot works fine on MacOS so it's probably a driver issue.

The N8ii connects fine with ADB even though it still says ? as long as you authorised USB debugging on the N8ii Fastboot connects fine too and displays the serial
As with Hiby R8 which the N8ii is based on Fastboot doesn't accept flash commands.
The QFIL/firehose I shared only works on the Hiby R8 4gb/64gb It doesn't work with the Hiby R8 6b/128gb or N8ii (exactly same soc/rom base as R8 6gb/128gb)
Creating one is a nightmare and very time consuming, I tried a whole bunch of generic ones but not had chance to revisit as yet.

I'd help but I don't have the device. Did you try ufs vs emmc for storage type?

Some progress in the N8II thread, I have confirmed it's UFS by the way

Note that this firehose is likely to work on the new R5ii.

Note that this firehose is likely to work on the new R5ii. The new Hiby ? Yes. It very similar to the older version, same processor (SD425) and memory. Untested of course.
