where do you source it? I tried looking in amazon, while there are some deoxit products, none of them looked similar to the pics you posted. Including the gold, the description in german, said Pulver... so powder I am not sure, in the pc it.looks fluid

They come in 7,4 cl nail varnish bottles with a brush in the lid and both are liquids. My previous bottles lasted me more than 10 years.

I'll continue to monitor my wm1A, if the static crackle develops again, then I will send it to nayparm for Jack change and mod

I am trying hard to detect an issue I had before (before mrWalkman mods).
So been listening to the first track of froberger edition sixth volume on AEOLUS.
Before I had mdr-z7 with MDR-Z1R stock 4.4 cables the rip was CD flac. At the last minute of the first track there was a bass distortion, like an air conditioner /diesel motor purring.
Now I tried with a DSD 2.8MHz rip with my totl and mid sony hp , MDR-Z1R, IER-Z1R and IER-M7. On none of those I hear that sound/distortion

I do get the point of Queen6 the WM1x walkman are performing on balanced like most new USB-C pigtail DAC offerings around the 200-300mW mark. While most top end players are offering between 700-1100mW into 32ohn

Well, if you get this kind of chances to try equipment so often, then I guess you could worry...but my opinion is that it's not really something you should start to overthink about lol. Otherwise, for what headphones I have right now, the WM1A is more than enough, while also sounding amazing. I don't plan on getting additional headphones, as Sony Z7M2 is truly an experience, and as IEMs go I currently have the Shure SE846 which they really do their job. Also, the output power might be similar to those USB dongles - but man, I thought we are in the WM1 team because of the sound quality
