The energetic HiBy R5 Saber is here, HiBy R5 has been sought after since its launch one ago. Its small body, open Android system, and rich sound performance Excellent price/performance ratio. However, some people have always expressed their hope that the voice of R5 can be clearer and brighter. We have chosen to listen to your opinions and made a special small change HiBy R5 Saber based on the original R5 architecture. There are three changes between R5 and R5 Saber 1. Replaced the op amp Changed from OPA1612 to OPA1642 2. Tuning direction adjustment From the original R5, focus on the expression of charm and atmosphere Changed to a cleaner and more resolving sound performance 3. Changed the 2 x Cirrus Logic DACs to 2 x ESS Saber DACs

WTF I just learned the Saber version is still using Cirrus Logic DACs and NOT Saber!!!
They have just changed 2 opamps and tuned it differently.
Whereas the Hiby R3Pro Saber IS using Saber.
Bonkers!
