Thank you very much for the quick reply You have clarified my doubts enough to be able to lift the connector of the NFC antenna, I will use a little hot air. In principle I want to put a standard & compatible battery (if I get it) and I will replace the used one, just one more simple question, does the original battery only have two soldering points? Thanks again and I keep reading you with enthusiasm all your mods. Greetings and Happy New Year, take good care of you. The stock battery has 3 connections. + Postive, - Negative and T Temperature/Thermistor A none sony battery with 3 connections will most likely have a different thermister value. It needs to measure 100K at room temperature. Happy new year too and good luck 😉👍

Due to this darn chest infection, I aren't as far on with couple of ZX300 mods I'm doing but we have progress and new stuff This one is for TheBandicoot and keeping 3.5mm so it takes 3.5mm from the coils too and as I can't use the 3.5mm area for an Audio Note Kaisei 220uf I'm using a Kemet KO T543 Series 220uf. Also it's going to be twin Super Caps!! Links made from the stock supercap. Taken to the opposite side of the board. Balanced and Single ended linked from coils to top side. Also the link for the Kemet KO top side. 2nd Supercap linked up. Plastics cut to accomodate 2nd Supercap and larger battery.

Twin supercaps and Kemets bicapped with the Audio Notes. Also ground is connected on the 4.4mm so the ddhifi 4.4mm to 3.5mm single ended adapters will work so single ended is not lost

Cool! looks amazing! Tell me please, will the back cover be completely made of copper like on sony wm1a mod? And what about the 4.4 output ground, so it is now grounded to the battery and chassis, am i right? I can't see the big cap instead of 3.5 output. Is it installed in my one?)))

TheBandicoot Doc1085 batteries are in and on test before the back plates are fitted as theses will be fixed via mobile phone screen adhesive i.e. still removable. Grounding is achieved via the copper wrapped battery and copper shielded circuitry solderered to ground. both sounding fantastic by the way. <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> Cool! looks amazing! That one is TheBandicoot, he wanted to keep 3.5mm, so it uses a kemet T543 220uf instead of the Audio Note 220uf and a different arrangment for things ro fit. You can see yours in the posts above it, I haven't photographed it with the battery yet. The 4.4mm is grounded on both units. You could potentially use a ddhifi balanced to single ended adapter now to regain 3.5mm (It uses GND, R+, L+) Due to current high copper pricing the full back panels are aluminium. I can order you one in copper but it would add about £30 to the mod price. I still have a stock of copper ones for the WM1A/Z but may switch to aluminium or have to put the price up once I run out.

Awesome work Steve! What's the lead time on ordering those Copper backplates? I'm more than happy to pay £30 for copper.

I would really appreciate if you can install the copper plate. I agree to a £ 30 price increase.
Hope this will further improve the isolation of the circuit from noise and sound in general.)

TheBandicoot, Doc1085, OK guys it will be less than £30 if you both want copper and I order a few extra. Lead time is about 5 days currently with the laser shop. I'll put the order in now 👍

Great! Patiently waiting))
Maybe there are more suggestions for improving the mod? Or is it a complete TOTL now?
