Hi mate no don't worry, you can hold play and power for 10-15 seconds or sometimes just power for the same 10-15 secs None of that seems to be working. It's bricked. I got up to step 4 in the PDF, set programmer path as NPAudio_[Cayin_N8ii]_[Hiby_R8-6128]_QFIL-UFS and it kept saying it failed and now I can't restart it

Hold FWD, RWD and Power to restart EDL then then try holding Power and Play again or just power.
This is purely qualcomm here, not cayin. They are designed to be not brickable. Some times it EDL can time out and seem dead, i've done hundreds of qualcomm devices. Is it attached to your computer and did you get as far as it seeing your N8ii as a 9008 device?

K that finally fixed it. Damn thing. Thanks I didn't think it would be brickable, just didn't want to wake up.

Hold all 4 buttons on the sides with USB cables plugged in. It is just a combination of keys and hold. It takes a while like 60 seconds.
Yeah, I freaked out too, but don’t worry, you can’t brick it

Not sure whats in the PDF but what actions did you do? Did you get to seeing a list of partitions and then you chose boot_a or boot_b right clicked and chose manage partition data then you chose load image and chose a boot.img that you patched or from whitigir?
