Just knocked this up used some of MrWalkman code from his early model changer. All in one Sony WM1A/Z Region Changer Tool / Sound Pressure Toggle / Detailed Chart 1drv.ms/u/s!AjIqgYlV9XYyiCmTbQQr9xRt8vzh?e=68QlQA View AttachmentNice, I was thinking of this, but I didn't got to do it yet. I tried using "BAT to EXE Converter" before, and while it works just fine, Windows Defender starts acting up. |

(2x)Neotech Legenburg copper internal cables + 26 gauge Solid Silver Gold Battery cables, The Nayparm Mod, + mrwalkman dmp-wm1 FE v2 is pretty damn sweet. Saxophones sound soooo sensual. Also just discovered this, the NFC option when turned on, introduces a very low but audible hum on my walkman. The NFC turned off has more clarity and smoothness. I am enjoying the U region the most so far. It is more sweeter and musical than J. At least to my ears. Thank you to everyone for the help  The region tool Nayparm handed out, works perfectly. DMP-wm1 FE v2 is just so liquid, especially with U region. My favorite so far... Thanks to MrWalkman , you sir have outdone yourself...again. Edit: I am using the Fe version of this firmware, not version 2. |

My NFC Chip is disconnected, but just having the option turned on creates low intensity noise.
You have to try the Neotech Silver Gold 1% alloy Battery cables, man the timbre is so spot on...I was listening to some Jazz tracks last night, and the instrumental timbre was as real as it gets to my ears. Pure Silver battery cables were not as a good match, but still better than pure copper.

I want to get my wm1A modded. But our car (well the car of my prtner) the transmission broke and i had to lend 400€.
Mighty god the Viral hepatitis treatment i am rwceiving didn’t cost me a dime (solely medicines MAVIRET costs 15000€ For 4 weeks and another 15000€ for the last 4 weeks.
I am om my 2nd week of treatment, so far no side effects at all

Crazy that a 5 year old Player is able to play music at this quality, and is still near the top of the short list.... Now if only Sony can shrink down the DMP. |
