I reduced some π€·ββοΈ but lost the will to live after 4 hours π Better to wrap the inner plastic chassis that host the back plate and the grooves to slide the module in , with copper and grounding it by a very small cable instead. This will only leave out the slot to connect the module, and wrapping up the tube windows as well , unless you want to leave it out β¦. Butβ¦even so, there will be interferences. May want to just custom made a back plate by copper, and then also wrapping the inner plastic chassis. Doing this will ground the inner wrapping to the copper back plate and need no wires, with the thicker plate to tackle the Wifi issues. This will improve the overall system rather than only Amp13

I really donβt understand the mind set of gluing plastic back plate. Why not just metal plate with some screws ? It is more friendly to the environment as well while being more rugged, easier to services, and also taking care of interferences

The final EXN-S spec but Solen Silver Sound capacitors are still out of stock π€π
I will be doing an EXN-2 which will be the same as EXN-S but with an alternative to the expensive 3 x Solen Silver Thanks to whitigir for the PMLCAP idea here too (They are used by Sony in the WM1A/Z) and to maxx134 for trying it out on his EXN-S and for the detailed feedback on the different mods. Also for sending me some Solen Silver in the first place π

Here's a work in progress AMP13EXNΒ It is sounding great ! ππ i'm leaving it here until more AMP13 stock arrives so I can A/B before final component replacements and tweaks if any. Say the word and I send you mine π Hi from Paris, been a silent admirer for a good while on HF. Was waiting for the new AMP12 mod to be final to send it to you, but I really enjoy stock AMP13 way more than 12, therefore shifting my priorities. ^^ So, want mine ? π

Woah, I just noticed the PMLCAP cap underneath both your new amp boards... Definitely a game changer with dynamics there. The amp13 mod looks amazing. I have question about the amp12 opamp replacement. In whitigir muse amp swap, it turned out louder output. Do you feel the amp12 opamps replacement change any gain output level? Or same level? Just curious if you have opamp swapped with known opamp specsheet, maybe you could also adjust to increase any power gain potential? I know it's probably opening a can of worms, so just a theoretical question.
