Thanks buddy,
There maybe a slight increase, I've had reports they are using more battery juice but I've not tested battery life as yet. Waiting for more chips to arrive.
Yes it could be a can of worms π€π
and i'm out of ibasso research time now. I moved onto cad and 3d printing work for an R2R2000 mod π

So I tested my DX320 with a prototype AMP12EXN2 4625 for battery usage.
Charged both analog/digital batteries to 100%
Played back via neutron Fixed to 768khz etc (Digital battery so irrelevant for the test) Medium gain 51% Neutron volume (so 32/63)
The analog battery lasted 6 hours (5 hours 56 minutes) The digital battery had 29% left (next to no screen time and zero wifi/bluetooth time)
The unknown stock opamps are by Texas Instruments going from the stamped marking/code on the underside of the chip (top markings are etched off by ibasso)
Any increase in mA draw over stock from the ADA4625-1 is 4 fold due to 4 chips being used.
This will be less of an impact using 2 x ADA4625-2 on an AMP11

Here's the AMP12EXN2 4625 prototype. How is that Cosmos signature ? I never tried it The Solen is expensive and meant to go over diminishing return eh , kinda like a luxury. This is more like a consumer version . I love how neatly you are running it

I have an Amp11.2S which is an earlier prototype for the EX version. This is non Muse version, so it is the EX original on the 11.2S. I am looking to trade with someone who has stock Amp11 of any versions. Please let me know by PM

it may as well not exist π€ I find Cosmos a little similar to Silmic Ii but with improved image width and height.

This is Amp11Muse-XF. The F stands for (Fidelity), and this is currently the highest version developed for this module amp11 of all variants. This Fidelity edition is using expensive Components to aim for beyond diminishing returns **Opamp is upgraded to Muse8920 (White Arrow), consuming slightly more power than stock, but still well within 8-10 hours **Bypass/Coupling/decoupling Capacitors is upgraded into PML Multi Layered capacitors (red arrows) with Stock AXV tantalum caps are upgraded into Panasonic POSCAP all around (yellow arrow) **Topping off with film foiled square Vishay capacitor in grey and top of the line audio grade UKW from Nichicon (this one is like an improved Silmic II, I love it), in black jacket (dark green arrow) **Silmic II which has been proven itself over and over again with light green arrows **Aerospace grade Wet Tantalum capacitor, the first that is being utilized in any portable player at all!! Together with it high pricing ! In purple arrow . The purposes of this is to get almost instantaneous power on tap without degradations from high frequencies and or extreme deep low frequencies, in the while eliminating most of the piezoelectric effects from typical tantalum capacitors

How are those Vishay 1840? I've been using and liking Kemet SMR (PPS metallized polyphenylene sulfide film) I'm scared to ask how much do those wet tantalum go for π³ Cool the Nichicon KW bring back memories of a very early dx150 amp6 Attachments:

Wow these two latest boards look even more advanced & extreme... nice!
I would assume if the upgraded opamp versions consume a bit more battery than original, that it would also show a difference in the output as well.
For example, I have noticed on whitigir amp11Muse having an increased output almost similar as a an amp12 level (within a half click of the volume wheel).
So I would assume the sonic impression of greater dynamics/output are benefited on all these versions, especially with all the cap upgrades optimized for the dynamics.

Carry on from Muse-XF, and thank you Steve for the excellent implementation of ADA4624-1. Here I spent sometimes with the Amp12 to conjure up Amp12Ada-XF Using aerospace Wet Tantalum silmic II, Nichicon UKW, Rubycon PML, Elna Cerafine, KEMET film foil, KEMET organic polymer

I see this board going in a different direction than the "AMP12EXN2 4625" version. Correct me if needed, but from the looks of the large uF values at inputs and output stage of this Amp12Ada-XF, it is alluding me to think more richer or electrolytic brand influenced sound. Also the surface mount PML caps alude to retaining dynamics over this electrolytics richness or signature. The other point is that the chips are already aluded to have a more natural sound than stock. Is this true? I think these 4625 implemented versions should be on another level as they would make full use of all the increased cap delivery potential.

4625 is actually very close to Muse, except it doesnβt have that vertical planing effects as Muse does. Some may like and some may not like the muse for both of these reasons. But the 4625 is very close to Muse (or generally, Ada/muse are more similar than differences)
