The only thing is that the 0.22uF has a diameter of 9mm, which can’t fit in the amp module. The 0.10uf is sitting right at the utmost clearances of 7mm. You can not even make 1 mistake lol.. the one in stock is 1uF…which is humongous  I believe the 0.10 is going to be stocked in sometime of June |

Nice job finding one that is 7mm. This is still aluminum though, not easy to find replacement for copper or silver foils at all …especially this size/specs |

Is this a poor choice to place the yellow ibasso caps?  Isn't that the volume controller? or is it an amp stage?? |

From just quick observations this unit having same or better Vishay at output as the new 320 board, but this one has a superior input stage and way superior PSU stage, so I would assume this board to be both sparklying clearer and more musical... While the ds320 stock board looks more tame, with good initial transients from the vishay films, but less bass sustain/delivery/impact, and alsk looks like a much more smooth tone with those yellow caps (that look like guitar tone caps)... Another thing, is if the amp12 may hear noise floor, what about old amp11 boards?? Only time will tell, but I will have a 320 to test amp12exnp next week. |
