Sorry for tagging you again NPAudio , I can't figure out how to reply to a post haha. Forgive me  I love the HM1K as a LDAC dongle. The sound is clear yet detailed and has that classic Hifiman tuning. The software is terrible but the sound is what keeps me coming back. There are some hardware shortcomings like the less than stellar battery life and it can get quite warm on higher gain settings. The size of HM1K Gold is remarkable given the sound quality. When paired up with an external amp like Aroma A100TB, my jaw drops. HM1K Gold is the best sounding portable DAP I've used and it's a shame it's discontinued. The noise floor of HM1K isn't as good as the 1Z. Given the pros/cons of the 1Z (warm sound, lower power output, low noise floor) and HM1K (detailed clear sound, higher power output, dedicated LO stages) the combo is unbeatable imho. Hi,
I know my model is not featured here, but maybe someone can help.
I was wondering if there is any way to improve the Sony NW-E394?
I had a NWZ-S764 before and was disappointed about the downgraded possibilities on the newer model.
I guess it's not possible to just put the NWZ-S764 firmware which I still have on the NW-E394?

S0, Im stuck on dawn firmware v3, can't use any other firmware, the connect a player warning pops up every time I try to use any other firmware, including the stock firmware.
can someone please help

I know what I did. I deleted the cfw folder without doing a stock revert on the player.
Dammit, I wasn't paying attention to the instructions.

can someone please give me a copy of the CFw folder....I deleted it without undoing the wm1 ONE firmware, and now I cannot install any other firmware without the player not connected warning.
External tunings for the Dawn DMP v3 firmware are the only thing that recognizes the player.
I can still do stock reverts, but they are not changing the firmware when the player restarts.
Help please

The Walkman One stock revert is also in the Walkman One download zip.
Run that then flash stock 3.02 👍
